மராட்டிய மாநிலம் மும்பையில் நாம் தமிழர் கட்சி சார்பாக 10.10.10 அன்று தாராவியில் தமிழக மீனவர்களின் படுகொலையை கண்டித்தும் செந்தமிழன் சீமானை விடுதலை செய்ய கோரியும் மாபெரும் பொதுக்கூட்டம் நடந்தது, கூட்டத்தில் ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மும்பைவாழ் தமிழர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.இந்த கூட்டத்திற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை மாநில ஒருங்கினைப்பாளர் சேலம் செல்லதுரை(அர்ஜுன்), மாநில செயலாளர் ராஜேந்தரின், மாநில அமைப்பாளர் கணேசன், ஆகியோர் செய்து இருந்தனர், இந்த கூடத்திற்கு சிறப்பு அழைப்பாளராக இயக்குனர் தங்கர் பச்சன், மாநில பேச்சாளர் சிபி சந்தர் கலந்து கொண்டு சிறப்புரையாற்றினர், கூட்டத்தில் பேசிய இயக்குனர் தங்கர்பச்சான், இது போன்ற பொது கூடங்கள் தான தமிழர்களை தமிழர்களின் பிரச்சனை குறித்து பேசும் பொது ஒன்று திரட்ட இயலும் என்றார், மேலும் மண் காகவும் மொழி காக்கவும் நாம் தொடர்ந்து போராட வேண்டும் என்றார். கூட்டத்தில் நிர்வாகிகள் கண்ணிவெடிகந்தசாமி, கென்னடி, பிரகாசு, சிவா, டோமினிக், நாதன், பொறியாளர் சுந்தர், டானியல் அப்பா, வில்லே பார்லே சசி, அந்தேரி ராஜேஷ், பாபு உள்ளிட்டோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
